The fairytale vibes from these earrings run high. Graceful and a little bold, I carved these shield shaped shamrocks from jewelers wax. love seeing shamrocks on the forest floor, and I also adore Ireland, which the shamrock is a symbol for. Shamrocks were also a popular motif in Victorian times.

Meanings attached to shamrocks include: the holy trinity, and one academic folklorist mentions “The shamrock was probably associated with the earth and assumed by the druids to be symbolic of the regenerative powers of nature.” There are also medicinal properties for certain types of clover!
